SYNERGY HomeCare Northwest Houston honors veterans with support of The Wounded Warriors Project

Local home care company hosts social contest; will announce winner on Friday, November 11, 2011

October 17, 2011, Houston, TX-  SYNERGY HomeCare Northwest Houston is proud to announce a program to honor Veterans Day 2011.  Coordinating its efforts with the wounded warrior project, the local home care provider will accept stories on its dedicated Facebook page.

Houston Veterans and their families can share their stories at the following Facebook page.

The company owner, Chad Jolley has long been inspired by the sacrifices of American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He says, “We want to honor the Wounded Warriors here in Houston and would like to share how they and their family members persevere and triumph over the sacrifices they made for America. We are confident their stories will inspire all of us and help us to remember to honor the importance of our military and their families, especially as Veteran’s Day 2011 approaches.”

SYNERGY HomeCare’s support of the Wounded Warrior Project includes:

  • Family members of any service member wounded in action can submit a story on our Facebook page. Wounded warriors and their families in the 11 county Greater Houston area are eligible.
  • $1 donation to The Wounded Warrior Project for every story provided on Facebook.
  • Honor the top 5 wounded warrior "stories" submitted through Facebookby donating $200 in each of their names to The Wounded Warrior Project.
  • The family of Houston’s most liked wounded warrior story will receive 40 hours of caregiving / personal aide assistance to be used at their discretion over a 6 month period.  SYNERGY HomeCare’s professional caregivers will provide general non-medical services.
  • SYNERGY HomeCare will announce the top five stories on Veterans Day 2011.  The stories of Houston’s wounded warriors will inspire and strengthen all Americans and remind us of the debt we owe our troops in harm’s way.
