“We pledge to everyone we serve to always be available to them and to treat them as members of our own extended family. Our team will always go the extra mile to provide peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones.” –Jason Portadin, Co-Managing Partner
As operators of a fully licensed Home Health Care Service Firm, we strive to provide high-quality care and reliable service to both seniors and non-seniors in their comfortable, familiar home setting. We are involved in every aspect of our agency’s operation and we believe that despite the growing number of home care agencies sprouting up throughout New Jersey and nationwide, there still remains a shortage of quality, compassionate home care providers who truly understand the industry and its nuances. We believe that the key element missing with most home care companies is that they don’t care for individuals as they would a member of their own family. The “family caregiver” model is the inspiration for the way we approach caregiving day in and day out.
At SYNERGY HomeCare of Mid-Jersey, we are backed by an enthusiastic careTEAM. Each caregiver we bring on board is carefully screened and submits to a thorough background investigation. Additionally, we are N.J. state licensed, NIHCA accredited, bonded, and fully insured. Every caregiver who works for SYNERGY HomeCare of Mid-Jersey is covered under our professional liability insurance. Our team can provide both care and peace of mind 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Ginger has held hands with her patients and their families in the ICU during life and death moments, and she's held the hands of her students as she watched them grow during their youth. Her experiences throughout her career provide her with a unique point of view when it comes to the importance that quality in-home care plays in preventing hospital re-admissions and keeping seniors & other potentially vulnerable individuals safe at home. She oversees the Plan of Care for all of the Bordentown and Colts Neck office patients and conducts regular quality visits to ensure that our caregivers in the field are following the Plan of Care and providing the appropriate assistance to our clientele.

She later worked as a CNA at a well respected New Jersey dialysis center; before rejoining Synergy HomeCare of Mid-Jersey in 2015 as a member of our management team. Kris supervises office operations for both Bordentown and Colts Neck while dealing with all issues related to our clients and their quality of service.
Kim Barnes, Client Services Coordinator: Kim initially joined our agency as a caregiver in the field providing high-quality care to our clients.
