Brooke Hartner

Brooke Hartner

President, SYNERGY HomeCare

Brooke is the co-owner of SYNERGY Homecare which serves Baldwin and Mobile Counties. Brooke oversees the operations side of the business. For eleven years prior, Brooke served as a Fourth Grade teacher in the Baldwin County School System. She is a graduate of the University of Mobile and completed her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Brooke is a life-long resident of the Baldwin County area. Brooke is happily married to Brice Hartner of Bay Minette and enjoys running, boating, and spending time with her family.


Andy Luedecke

Andy Luedecke is the co-owner of SYNERGY HomeCare – serving the Mobile Bay Area. Andy graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. In his role at SYNERGY HomeCare, Andy oversees Business Development and Patient Advocacy. Andy is married to Walker Luedecke and has three children, Acker, Percy, and Catherine. Andy is an avid tennis player and enjoys fishing and the outdoors in general. Andy is an active member of the Fairhope Rotary Club, Azheimer’s Association, and the ALS Association. Andy also serves on the board of Fairhope Middle School’s Future Business Leaders of America.


John Stephens

General Manager, SYNERGY HomeCare

John Stephens is the General Manager of SYNERGY HomeCare overseeing HR, Quality Assurance, Scheduling, and all Operations. John is originally from Bay Minette, AL. and just recently moved back to the area. After over 20 years of honorable military service as an Army Officer, John retired. After the military, John spent over 16 years at Baxter Healthcare as Human Resource Manager with an extensive training and development record. John is married to Robin Moorer of Dothan, AL. He is the proud father of 2 daughters and a son and a grandfather of 4. He enjoys golf, woodworking and a good cigar. John holds a Masters Certification in Strategic Planning, an M.Ed. and MBA.


Donna Jernigan

Director of Clinical Services

Donna Jernigan grew up in Mississippi. She moved to Alabama in 1995, after her Father passed away, to help her Mother care for her Grandmother. It was during this time she felt her calling was caring for others. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2000. During her years as a nurse, she has worked in many areas of nursing but found her passion working with the older population and ensuring they are provided with dignity and respect. Donna has two beautiful daughters, Jamie and Alden. She enjoys spending her free time out on the boat with her family and friends.

Erica Buford

Communications Coordinator

Erica is the Communications Coordinator for SYNERGY HomeCare. She is responsible for the coordination between all the Home Health and Hospice agencies in Mobile & Baldwin Counties that service SYNERGY HomeCare clients. She will be receiving her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration in December. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant with 14 years experience. She takes great pride in providing excellent client service through her scheduling duties. Erica resides in Mobile, AL and is a Mother to three boys, Kendrick, DeMarrion and Jay. She is an active member of Tabernacle of Praise United Churches.

Tricia Stewart

Finance Coordinator

Tricia Stewart is the Finance Coordinator of SYNERGY HomeCare located in Daphne, AL. Tricia oversees all aspects of our company’s finance department. She has over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance. Tricia and her husband are proud parents to two beautiful children. She was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama but moved to the Eastern Shore area in 1995. Tricia enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and reading.

Rebecca Hartner

Community Relations Coordinator

As Community Relations Coordinator, Rebecca plays a vital role in building lasting and professional relationships through compassionate communication to all clients and caregivers. She provides the caring voice to families in their time of need. Rebecca believes high quality communication is essential in providing quality care. She wears many other hats including managing and corresponding with all applicants, oversees the social media portion of our business, and helps with on-boarding new hires. Rebecca also assists with marketing events where she can utilize her love for event planning. Rebecca and her husband Tom have three beautiful children, Halle, Hayes, and Hadleigh. She loves archery, craft projects, and spending time with her family.
